Praso
Praso is a typical Giudicarie style village
Located in the Valle del Chiese valley on the road leading to Valle Daone, Praso features a handful of houses, which perfectly synthesize Giudicarie architecture style: stone foundations, granite portals, wrought-iron gratings, doors with wooden superstructures and shingle-covered double-pitched roofs.
Medieval Church of San Pietro stands on the Eastern edge of the village and overlooks the basin of Bono Parish.
From Praso you can reach the residential area of Sevror (786 m a.s.l) at the feet of the castle's rise. The legend has it, Sevror is the oldest centre of the area and was colonized by the immigrants who joined the village to work as charcoal workers. Note close-by the church of San Rocco, built in 1530 and restyled in the 19th Century. The cupola of the presbytery is decorated with 18th century frescoes and elegant stuccoes.
