Over a hundred years have passed since the end of the Great War, but in the mountains you’ll still come across old forts, tunnels and the remains of trenches, silent witnesses to a conflict which saw Trentino on the front line. From the “White War” fought on the glaciers to the battles to conquer strategic positions in the high mountains. Seeing is believing, and coming here you’ll truly understand what those soldiers went through.
