Fiemme and Cembra, autumn well-being

Among foliage and heroic viticulture

Two valleys, two souls and two ways of interpreting the autumn season. The synthesis: a harmony of colours, flavours and well-being.

During golden autumn days, Val di Fiemme is an invitation to walk or cycle in the crisp mountain air, along paths that meander through brightly coloured pine and larch forests. The pace slows down and you can engage in gentle activities in contact with nature.

Discover the most beautiful autumn walks and remember that many funicular systems are open until 29 September. So, it’s easy!

A not-to-be-missed appointment for those who love holistic disciplines that help reactivate both mind and body. We’re talking about wellness, nutrition, creativity and we’re talking about yoga, to be done outdoors, in the greenery of nature, to breathe free and regenerate yourself.

In Val di Cembra, autumn is synonymous with the grape harves

A generous land, even in its stony appearance, made up of sunny hills and dry stone walls, porphyry and fir trees. This is where aromatic white wines of great quality are produced, such as Müller Thurgau, Nosiola, and of course Trentodoc, the sparkling wine of the mountains. Autumn here is a long period of festivity, where ancient convivial traditions are renewed and the community gathers, from village to village, in the piazze, in the local cellars and wineries, to celebrate the fruits of the earth. If you also want a little exercise, there is nothing better than a trek through the vineyards, to top off with a gourmet finale.

The Desmontegade

In the mountains, on the other hand, the herds returning from the alpine pasture are where the party happens. The summer season comes to an end, people return to the farms in the valley below, and in the village everyone cheers the processions of goats and cows decorated with bells, cowbells and flowers, queens of milk and of the cheeses that will make the winter delightful.

The “Desmontegade”, typical of Val di Fiemme, is a lively and cheerful event, which is accompanied by festivals and markets where typical products such as cheese, honey and speck cold cuts can be tasted.
