What to do in Trentino in winter

Not just skiing, but also snowshoeing, villages to explore and unwinding in wellness centres

There are 800 km of pistes and two large ski areas – Dolomiti Superski and Skirama Dolomiti-Adamello Brenta – with quick, convenient ski lifts, but the freedom to hurtle downhill isn’t all Trentino has to offer in the winter. Enjoy peace and quiet in the big parks, the relaxing atmosphere in wellness centres, the history of some of the most beautiful villages in Italy (I Borghi più belli d’Italia), the thrills of sledding down the slopes, and much more besides.

Below you can find quick, handy guides to what to do in winter in the main destinations in Trentino.
