Agritur Malga Cengledino

The Malga Cengledino agriturismo is located on the panoramic ridge of the homonymous mountain (2,137 m) with a breathtaking view overlooking the Val Rendena and the Giudicarie, offering views in all directions.

Since 2021, the hut has also been offering a small on-site agritourism, where it is possible to taste chopping boards of typical products and, at the weekend, also a hot dish. A small shop has also been set up where you can buy their products.

The hut consists of a central part, from whose porch you pass the milk outcrop and the room used as a kitchen and dairy. Here we find the cheesemaker who every day produces an almost skinny cheese similar to Spressa. Maturing takes place in the cellar below: the cheesemaker periodically turns the shapes and scrapes the crust with a knife. The farm that manages the Malga Cengledino, does the same with the Malga Lodranega by dividing the pasturing period on both pastures.
