Rifugio Fuciade - Dolomiti di Fassa
- Hosts one of the concerts of the festival I Suoni delle Dolomiti
An ancient barn transformed into a refuge in an enchanted basin of other barns and small huts between incandescent meadows in summer and snowy expanses in winter.
A gourmet retreat, highlighted by the main gastronomic guides, overlooking the Pale di San Martino and Col Margherita. It can be reached on foot with an easy hike from Passo San Pellegrino, also suitable for strollers, or with a snow cat, on a crossroads of spectacular trails, at almost 2000 m above sea level. Identity, belonging and responsibility are the guiding values of the gastronomic and hospitality proposal of Emanuela and Sergio Rossi and their son Martino, now at the helm of the kitchen. The dishes are those typical of the tradition, the cajonciè, the polenta gnocchi and the chopping boards are inevitable, but there are many reinterpretations and surprises out of the ordinary such as potato noodles. A special mention should be made of the rich range of desserts prepared in a real pastry workshop that also churns out the very fragrant bread every day. The basis of each preparation is respect for raw materials and a careful selection of producers and production.
Small/medium-sized pets are welcome, both in the internal rooms of the restaurant and on the terrace.
