Terme di Levico
Sustainable well-being by the lakeside
- The iron-rich Acqua Forte spring from the Lagorai mountains
- Natural de-stressing activities
- Located in the world’s first sustainable tourism destination
The Terme di Levico spas are located among the lakes of Valsugana, the world’s first destination to achieve sustainable tourism certification from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
The Acqua Forte spring of the Terme di Levico spas contains iron-rich water, which runs down from the mountains of the Lagorai group. It flows through metal deposits, becoming enriched with minerals such as iron, sulphates, copper and arsenic, which exert a relaxing effect on the nervous system.
From its source on Monte Panarotta, the water flows directly to the spa facilities, where it is used for therapeutic purposes and as a natural cure for stress and anxiety, as well as for respiratory diseases and dermatological problems.
In this natural setting, the programmes at the Terme di Levico and Vetriolo spas are recommended as a way to restore balance and well-being. Holistic activities are indicated as natural ways to de-stress: yoga by the shores of the lake, or meditative walks in nature towards the little church in San Biagio or the Forte delle Benne fortress, concentrating on breathing and awareness of your own body.
The thermal centre also offers other wellness services, such as therapeutic massages, physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy, water aerobics and a circulation-boosting circuit. The Terme di Levico and Vetriolo spas also offer a line of ‘'Minerals - Thermal Essence', with natural ingredients and animal friendly in sustainable packaging.
