Levico Terme
Wellness and elegance in enchanting settings
- Relaxing hikes around Lake Levico
- Cycling along the river Brenta
- Sunbathing and swimming at the lake
A rare 19th century ville d'eau, the apple of Levico's eye are its spas and are internationally renowned amongst the medical community for the therapeutic efficacy of their waters, which are unique in Italy thanks to their iron and arsenic mineral components.
The lake, bearing the name of the town, is to be found at its feet, fjord-shaped, ideally suited to fishing, rowing boats and peaceful swims. Located right behind it, at 1,500 m above sea level, Vetriolo features caves surrounded by fir woods, which shade the thermal spring water.
The skiing structure of Panarotta 2002 is further up the mountains, and both the Brennero and Veneto motorways are well-connected and easy to reach from the Valsugana valley. Panarotta is actually Lagorai's western access to valleys, mountains, tiny alpine lakes, mountain chalets and wild nature where guests can enjoy high-altitude hiking, mountain-bike tours, hang-gliding and paragliding.
Together with its healthy climate and spas, sports and outdoor entertainment, Levico also offers its visitors hill walks amongst castles and biotopes or within its ancient town centre, where they can discover its traditional local handicraft.
Special holiday programmes are also available for families and children.
