From 18 May to 13 October 2024, Forte Garda on Monte Brione hosts the photographic exhibition "Women of the Outermost Lands ", created in collaboration between MAG Museo Alto Garda and Montura Editing.

Through the shots of Caterina Borgato, photographer and traveller, the exhibition presents us with tenacious and resilient women who, with stubbornness and a spirit of sacrifice, face the daily challenges of life in hostile environments. Guardians of centuries-old traditions, they represent the beating soul of their communities.
'Women of Extreme Lands' is not just a photo exhibition, but a tribute to femininity in extreme contexts. A warning to overcome prejudices and stereotypes in order to embrace the richness of human multiplicity.
To reach Forte Garda, you can leave your car in Porto San Nicolò and proceed on foot along the Sentiero della Pace (Peace Path) that runs along the ridge of Monte Brione. Climbing on foot, after about 15 minutes you will arrive at Forte Garda.
