Faedo
Faedo is a peaceful oasis overlooking Valle dell'Adige, with a view of the Paganella and Brenta Dolomites
The view enjoyed from Faedo at 600 meters above sea level is unforgettable: the Paganella and the Mezzocorona mountains straight ahead, the Brenta Dolomites, with Campanil Basso and Cima Tosa, and the Piana Rotaliana plain down below. Faedo is located on the left-hand side of River Adige amidst meadows and pine, beech, larch and fir woods. Its historical town-centre and cobbled alleys can be reached by travelling through its vineyard-decorated hills, and past the austere Gothic-Romanic church of St. Agata (1537--38), which welcomes guests to the town. A peaceful oasis awaits visitors above Faeno, among its meadows and alpine summer pastures. Here, they can enjoy silence and fresh air, surrounded by the town's splendid pine woods. The Moneralle castle (dating back to 1100), with its age-old heritage of Roman, Cimbrian and Lombard legends stands on a hill towards the North.
