Val Noana natural rock-climbing area
The natural rock-climbing areas are located in Val Noana, a valley next to Primiero.
It features three sectors: Clacson Cliff (first sector, on the left, distinguished by its yellowish wall), Coradale (somewhat hidden walls, a 15-minute walk away), Goblin (an overhanging wall near the dam).
There are four natural cliffs to be climbed: a) located just outside the second tunnel on the road leading to the Fonteghi Mountain-hut, it features 30 m development, 25-30 m ascent, 20 routes ranging from 5a to 8b grade, and grey calcareous rock; b) located after the second tunnel, you can park under the bridge on the left. A 10-minute walk on a small trail on the left of the bridge will take you to the cliff. It features 25-30 m development and ascent, advanced difficulty, a large number of difficult routes, and grey calcareous rock; c) rock-climbing area called "Coboldo area" located after the third tunnel on the left going up the valley. It features 30 m development and ascent, about fifteen routes ranging from 6b to 8c grade, and grey-yellow calcareous rock; d) located in the village of Val de Riva on the banks of Lake Noana, it features 30 m development and ascent, 20 routes ranging from 5a to 7c grade and grey calcareous rock.
