Aperitif in music
The Alphornbläser Deutschnofen trio, musicians from Val d'Ega, perform in an atmospheric Alpine horn concert
Vigo, recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is transformed during the festive period into a real Christmas village with lots of little wooden houses displaying typical products and handicrafts. Not only that, almost every day the atmosphere is made even more welcoming thanks to shows and concerts to attend, while you warm yourself up with a fragrant mulled wine or apple juice.
For a long time, the alpine horn was used by shepherds to communicate from one alpine pasture to another and with people in the valley. This simple hollow wooden instrument diffuses a harmonious music, whose natural and intense notes are able to convey feelings of joy, peace and serenity to the audience. On Sunday, 29 December, in the afternoon, Karl Stuppner, Stefan Pfeifer and Felix Pfeifer will animate the village centre. The trio of professional musicians from the nearby Val d'Ega (Nova Ponente) will entertain us with traditional and modern tunes for an evening that promises to be full of taste and captivating sounds.
At 5 p.m. by the square in front of the tourist office in Vigo. Free entry.
