Concert by Damiana Dellantonio, accompanied for the occasion by musicians Franco Testa, Giulio Corini and Enrico Tommasini for an evening of soul, pop and jazz rhythms
The culture and music association "La Grenz", long-standing partner of the Dolomiti Ski Jazz and Val di Fassa Panorama Music festivals, opens the doors of its club for a series of unmissable autumn concerts. In an informal and friendly atmosphere, which has always distinguished this iconic club in Moena, musicians and audience will come together to spend evenings of good music, immersed in the tradition that has seen some of the greatest artists of the international jazz scene perform on stage.
Damiana Dellantonio was born in Cavalese in 1994. As a child of art, she started performing in local contexts when she was very young and over the years her stable groups were formed, with which she sang a repertoire ranging from jazz standards to covers of the great pillars of funk, acid jazz and soul music. She studied the fundamentals and graduated in jazz singing at the "F.A. Bonporti" conservatory in Trento and Riva del Garda, while at the same time taking individual lessons at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome with teacher Serena Brancale, with whom, in addition to her training, she began an artistic collaboration. Damiana, in addition to teaching singing in various schools, dedicates part of her artistic activity to writing and producing original material, managing in 2019 to record the ep "Plastica" with a tracklist of six original tracks. In his music, Dami combines soul, pop and jazz, demonstrating his desire to move between different sound dimensions.
