Lighting the fourth Advent candle
In accordance with tradition, the fourth candle of the Advent wreath is lit in the square in Canazei, a moment full of atmosphere accompanied by the voice of the young singer-songwriter from Fassa, the overall winner of the "Voci d'Oro 2021" festival
Advent, as much loved by children as by adults, is one of the best times to immerse oneself in the traditions, lights and scents of Val di Fassa, at the gates of winter. To make everything even more special, the picturesque markets of Campitello, Vigo, Soraga and Moena. The fourth and last candle of Advent, known as "of the angels" in the Christian rite, will be lit on Saturday, 14 December at 5.30 p.m. in the main square of Canazei. Immediately afterwards, the atmosphere will be enlivened with the warm voice of Letizia Beate Iori.
Born in 2000, Letizia Beate Iori, aka "Leti", has always dreamed of entering the world of music since she was a child, and for some years now she has been starting to realise her dream in the indie-pop genre. She was the overall winner of the 24th edition of the "Voci d'Oro 2021" festival in Montecatini Terme with the song "Chimera", which she wrote and arranged. Thanks to this first success, in the same year, she took part in the "MEI" in Faenza, the biggest event in Italy dedicated to independent and emerging music. Tonight she will perform in the central square of Canazei, presenting a selection of covers.
