Christmas Market in Campitello
Stalls with handicrafts, artistic products and gastronomic specialities await you in the village of Val di Fassa with the best view of the Sassolungo
On Friday 8 December, Campitello inaugurates an evocative market for true connoisseurs of Christmas atmospheres, balanced between the poetry of the crib and the enchantment of the Sassolungo in the background. The characteristic little wooden houses, offering handicrafts, typical gastronomic delicacies, and artistic and handicraft products from the Dolomites, are carefully set up along a pleasant pedestrian path leading from "Piaz de Ciampedel" to "Piaz Veie". There is music, there is atmosphere, there is the horse carousel, there is the choreography of the decorations, the illuminations, the majestic tree, the ice fountain and, to warm you up, there is a fragrant hot mulled wine to accompany a tasty bretzel with speck and "Cuor di Fassa" cheese or delicious "fortaes" (typical sweet snail-shaped pancakes). Who knows, strolling among the various stalls, the last-minute gift might jump out at you...
The Christmas market is open on 7 and 8 December, 14 and 15 December and from 21 December to 5 January from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
