Winter has arrived and on Alpe Cimbra you can already feel the Christmas atmosphere.
The cold wind that sneaks between the houses clashes with the warmth of the center of Folgaria, with its colors, its scents, its welcome.
It is the prelude to a special season that with its frozen wings wants to embrace both outdoor enthusiasts and lovers of relaxation and local traditions.
Bolkhent, in Cimbrian "welcome", is the ritual with which we welcome this magical time of year and all those who want to experience it first-hand.
On Saturday, December 7, a large parade will start from Piazzetta Villa at 6:00 pm and will cross the town of Folgaria, thus sending a strong message of enthusiasm and welcome.
The event will be accompanied by the notes of the Folgaria Folklore Band which, song after song, will lead the event to Piazza S. Lorenzo to watch the lighting of the large Christmas tree. The instructors of the Alpe Cimbra Ski Schools will be there, ready to make you experience strong emotions on the over 100km of slopes of the plateau.
Adding a further touch of beauty to this unique parade are the very elegant Bernese Mountain Dogs of the amateur group Grabber.
At the end of the parade, mulled wine and Bertold's potion for everyone!
