Commezzadura
Holidays in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park
Located in the heart of Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta, one of the prettiest ski areas of Europe, Commezzadura is a centre for cross-country skiing, together with the town of Vermiglio, a true capital of Nordic skiing. Part of its fame derives from the well-known Sci Club Val di Sole dating back to 1960. Its most famous ski-run is the Roncacci, where numerous international competitions have taken place over the years.
The Commezzadura area includes the outlying villages of Mestriago and Mastellina. This latter is the renowned birth place of painters Guardi and Piano; it also hosts a church dedicated to St. Agata, one of the most picturesque churches in the valley. And then the villages of Deggiano, Almazzago, the Costa Rotian tourist village and Daolasa, whose ski facilities are connected to Marilleva facilities, and can be reached directly via the Dolomiti Express train station.
