The Fruscìo sound park
A place to get away from the noise and get closer to sounds
- 7 sound stations
- Immersion in the larch forest
- Accessible all year round
This is the Fruscìo sound park in Val di Rabbi: a route through an idyllic fir and larch forest in the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio. Wooden bells, giant carillon attached to trees, drums carved from tree trunks, colossal trumpets to amplify the sounds of the forest: there are a total of 7 sound and experience stations in the park, capable of emitting sounds so delicate that they blend in with the natural melody of the forest.
Each sound station is associated with one of the 7 Chakras, the energy centres in the human body according to Eastern philosophies. By amplifying natural sounds, inner harmony is improved and the symptoms of overuse of technology are alleviated.
The route also passes through a circular “amphitheatre” made of polished metal that reflects the surrounding landscape as if resembling a body of water, and a “triangular field” comprising three vertical wooden elements stocked with books, magazines and various objects that you can use while in nature.
The final stop, a tribute to maestro Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, brings you to a grand piano embedded in a conifer tree 10 metres above the ground.
