Caderzone Terme
Health and physical wellbeing surrounded by Val Rendena's enchanting scenery
Caderzone is one of the oldest towns in the Val Rendena valley and is located in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park between the Adamello-Presanella glaciers and the sharp spires of the Brenta Dolomites. Framed within this unique landscape, Caderzone is an ideal holiday destination for family-friendly wellbeing-oriented holidays, for those who love sports and peaceful hikes, as well as for those who wish to enjoy tours on foot or by bike along the wonderful bike-path running at the bottom of the valley.
Caderzone was awarded the prestigious Bandiera Arancione [orange flag] by the Touring Club Italiano for its high-quality, environmentally-friendly tourism. Both facets of the local community - traditional farmers and, more recently, tourist hospitality - meet and coexist in harmony and mutual respect here.
The Museo della malga has been established on the ground floor of the main historical recently-refurbished complex Scuderie del Rione Lodron-Bertelli to depict the work carried out on the Rendena and Giudicarie mountain pastures.
Over the centuries, the chalybeate springs of S. Antonio - located high up the town - have ensured the wellbeing of both the local community and guests. Nowadays they are employed at the state-of-art Terme di Val Rendena spa centre, which also offers aesthetic and herbal treatments.
Recreational fishing can also be enjoyed on the Alpine lakes San Giuliano and Garzonè.
The skiing districts of Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio-Folgarida-Marilleva are located just a few kilometres away.
