Christmas melodies with Moena's Bandino
The atmosphere of the Christmas markets is enlivened by the sweet notes played by members of the Moena municipal band
Until Epiphany, the centre of Moena turns into an enchanting Christmas village, a place where the traditions of the festive season are revived in a warm and timeless atmosphere. The streets are lit up with twinkling lights and filled with an irresistible scent of spices, typical sweets and mulled wine, inviting you to stroll leisurely among the little wooden houses of the markets. Here you can get inspired for a last-minute gift: fine fabrics, passionately crafted handicrafts and delicacies celebrating local traditions, perfect to share with loved ones or to give as gifts.
In the two main squares, children have fun with a horse carousel and a small train on rails, while the entire village comes alive with concerts and travelling shows that add a touch of magic.
At 5 p.m., the brass band of the Moena Municipal Band, dressed as shepherds, crosses the streets of the centre, playing sweet melodies. The notes of the most beloved songs of the festive season spread through the air, igniting emotions and warming the hearts of all those present, in an experience that perfectly embodies the spirit of Christmas in Val di Fassa.
