There are still a few days left for "NOMADIC - Canto per la Biodiversità", an unprecedented show by Telmo Pievani and Gianni Maroccolo.
Presented by National Biodiversity Future Center, in collaboration with Imarts - International Music And Arts, the show will be held on Friday, November 15 at the S. Chiara Auditorium in Trento on the occasion of the XXV edition of BITM – Le Giornate del Turismo Montano – an event organized by Confesercenti del Trentino with the competition of bodies and associations that deal with tourism in Trentino.
NOMADIC has obtained a broad consensus, arousing great enthusiasm and deep interest in the public, such as to generate the demand for a tour. The complete show, taken from Rai, has already been broadcast on Rai Scuola and a fragment of the same taken from Alberto Angela in his Rai Uno broadcast, NOOS.
In a historical moment marked by migratory crises, NOMADIC - Song for Biodiversity explores human and animal migratory routes with empathy and depth, confronting us with the reality that all the peoples of the Earth have a common root and inviting us to overcome the mental and physical barriers we have erected.
With the musical direction of Gianni Maroccolo and the texts and narrating voice of Telmo Pievani, the show features the participation of artists such as Angela Baraldi, Andrea Chimenti, Antonio Aiazzi, Simone Beneventi and Simone Filippi. Direction and light design by Mariano De Tassis with Vladimir Jagodic sound engineer. To complete, the video illustrations by Marco Cazzato and the animated videos by Michele Bernardi.
Through the music of C.S.I., Philip Glass, Litfiba, Claudio Rocchi, Marlene Kuntz, Gianni Maroccolo, PGR & Franco Battiato, this show represents an unprecedented and immersive experience that leaves room for reflection and discovery, a bridge between art and science that confirms how these two spheres can come together to communicate complex themes in an accessible and engaging way, as well as a testimony to the power of art to inspire change and awareness, leading the viewer to question the deep meaning of migration and our connection with the natural world.
A unique show, which arrives at a crucial historical period, standing as a source of entertainment, dissemination and inspiration, to remind us of the importance of looking at our common migratory past to face the challenges of the present and the future with a new perspective, based on connection and mutual respect between all forms of life.
