VISIT TO THE EXHIBITION AND THE MUSEUM
On the occasion of the exhibition "Faces in time. Portraits and figures of five centuries", the Museo Diocesano Tridentino offers three meetings on the theme of portraiture. Starting from the works on display, the route will explore the affinities and differences between ancient and modern portraiture. The first meeting will focus on the portrait as a symbol of prestige and immortality, analysing works related to bishop princes, such as the Codex Vanghianus and the pastoral of Giorgio Hack, to reflect on the role of the portrait in promoting and remembering oneself.
