Every Thursday, at Ciampac, enjoy a unique experience to discover the secrets of ski slope preparation, concluded by a delicious aperitif at sunset
Have you ever wanted to find out how ski slopes are prepared? Would you like to observe the operation of the snow cannons up close and visit the control cabin of a powerful snowcat? The appointment is in the picturesque Ciampac basin, at the arrival point of the gondola lift departing from Alba di Canazei.
Details of the experience
Every Thursday, from approx. 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., professionals will accompany you to show you their daily work that guarantees perfectly snow-covered slopes and the best skiing from December to April. During this experience, you will be able to observe the machines at work before the evening work begins and satisfy any curiosity you may have about the world of snow and slope safety.
The emotion of an aperitif at sunset
Conclude the afternoon with a tasty aperitif at the mountain hut, accompanied by a breathtaking view of the Sella group and Piz Boè. After the toast, you can choose to return to the valley comfortably by the gondola or ski down the spectacular 2 km black slope of Ciampac, before it closes.
Price: € 12 for adults and children (from 8 years). The price includes the activity, the guide and an aperitif at the mountain hut. The lift ticket is paid by the participants (ski pass valid).
