Street Parade with "Banda Storta"
Closing the festive period is the travelling, circus-style musical performance by the "Banda Storta" ensemble
Epiphany, which as a popular proverb says "all feasts take away" is celebrated 12 days after Christmas, thus closing the Christmas season. On 6 January, the Magi brought baby Jesus gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh. Hence the tradition of the gifts of the Befana, who according to the nursery rhyme "comes at night with her shoes all broken". To celebrate in style on the last day of the markets in one of Italy's most beautiful villages, the jazz show of the roguish ensemble of musicians "Banda Storta", namely Davide Salata (soprano sax), Emiliano Tamanini (trumpet), Fabrizio Carlin (trombone), Giorgio Beberi (baritone sax), Filippo Tonini (drums and percussion), and Luca Salata (director, actor). Six eclectic minds and souls with a twist that find their balance in arrangements, compositions and gags with circus knowledge and flavour.
