These are black runs requiring technique and expertise. Like VolatA, 2.3 km of pure adrenaline, with average gradients of close to 50% and a series of walls that make it the perfect training ground for Italian national ski champions and the scene of important European races.

Walks in the snow

The Petali trails are the Fassa Valley at its most traditional. These are called 'petals' because they are loop trails starting and finishing in the village which bring the ancient troi - shepherds' paths in Ladin, back to life. Ranging from 3 to 9 km in length, these are suitable for children, too, and can be walked in winter with snowshoes, poles and crampons, in the event of ice.
