Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Val Rendena
Mountains, skiing to the max, Dolomite panoramas and holidays Italian style
- A glamorous tourist destination
- Trekking on the Brenta Dolomites
- A skiarea with over 150 km of fantastic slopes
The area’s main resort, Madonna di Campiglio, realised its tourist vocation in the 1800s, and ever since has been perfectly maintaining its historic charm. Besides the famous little piazza, the worldly pleasures and the international sporting events, Madonna di Campiglio will give you days in the Brenta Dolomites you will never forget: Dolomites which are easily reached thanks to numerous lift installations. In Campo Carlo Magno and Caderzone golf lovers will also find two splendid greens.
Pinzolo is the tourist hot spot of Val Rendena. This is a lovely small town that extends across the wide valley floor and offers the entire family welcome leisures, from the walks to the cycling track and to the sporting installations: football pitches, playgrounds, an ice-skating stadium, swimming pool and gyms. During the summer months Pinzolo plays host to the Italian A series football teams.
The new Skiarea Campiglio Brenta Dolomites - Val di Sole Val Rendena stretches out from Doss del Sabion over Pinzolo to the slopes of Madonna di Campiglio, right up to Folgarida-Marilleva in Val di Sole: 150km of slopes to suit every level of difficulty, which enliven the largest skiing area in all of Trentino, placed against the backdrop of the Brenta Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
