Museo della Cartolina “Salvatore Nuvoli”
A truly unusual place: in Isera, in the town of Marzemino, more than 35,000 postcards of all kinds were collected, including World War I, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and political satire.
In Isera, city of Marzemino, there is a truly original museum, which through 35,000 postcards – ranging from 1869 to the present day and divided into 19 categories - allows you to retrace the history of Trento and Bolzano, but also of Italy and the rest of Europe. From classic panoramas to patriotic propaganda, from World War I to political satire, there are postcards here of all kinds, from cardboard classics to those made of leather, wood or cork. For centuries, this was the main means of communication. An image, a postage stamp, a stamp and a greeting: a piece of cardboard that crossed borders, seas and mountains to reach the addressee.
