Christmas Market in Lavarone

Starting on 30 November, the fourth edition of the Lavarone Christmas Market will take place in the beautiful setting of the historic centre of ‘Bertoldi veci’ in Lavarone, Trentino.
The hamlet of Bertoldi was chosen for its fairy-tale historical centre, characterised by soft lights, narrow streets winding among ancient faces once dedicated to rural activities, where time seems to have stopped in the last century.
This fascinating event, in which numerous exhibitors will participate, will be the perfect opportunity to immerse oneself in the Christmas atmosphere and discover unique handicraft products and gastronomic delicacies. Visitors will be able to stroll among the atmospheric wooden houses and old faces festively decorated, where it will be possible to buy original gifts, Christmas tree decorations, local handicrafts, traditional sweets and much more.
In addition to typical products, it will be possible to taste traditional Christmas culinary specialities, such as mulled wine, hot chocolate, Christmas sweets and typical dishes of the season.
Sounds and scents will welcome visitors in a magical atmosphere: the scent of mulled wine, cinnamon and spices, freshly baked strudel and strauben, tasty dumplings and warm polenta, the colours of the little wooden houses lit up by small lights and the ancient ‘faces’ decorated for the festivities.
The Market comes to life inside the ancient Bertoldi ‘veci’ village, winding its way through the narrow streets of this picturesque mountain village at an altitude of 1,200 m. The little trees decorated with small lights make the old village picturesque, while various stalls offer visitors unique and original gift ideas.
