All the taste of autumn

Fairs, festivals and peasant celebrations

Every harvest is a blessing. Anyone who lives off the land knows it, because nature can be tamed, when respected, but cannot controlled. Man’s work adapts to its rhythms and bends to its wishes. For this reason, each harvest is transformed into a celebration involving the entire community.

These shared moments that each territory proudly opens to anyone who wants to join in the dances, exhibitions, tastings come from faraway.

Moments of identity that allow you to access the heart of the life of those who work with passion all year round to showcase the result of their trade, which is also a lifestyle.

Autumn in Trentino is apple season, but not only. Come celebrate with us!

Sagra della Ciuiga

A festival to celebrate the famous cured meat, a Slow Food product whose ingredients and slow preparation and curing are the secret to the knowledge and tradition of the Banale plateau. And what better place to do so than in the lovely town of San Lorenzo, made even more fascinating by its cheerfulness.

The Pantry of the Alpe

Mark 2 and 3 November in your calendar, and then go up to Alpe Cimbra for this two-day event, to get to know and taste the agri-food products of Trentino. Conferences, related experiential workshops, the “Producers’ Market”, guided activities to discover the places of production - open farms, trekking of taste, biking with taste. In short… there is something for all tastes!

MelaColgo

The apple festival is the time to harvest! In Val di Non and Val di Sole you can experience it firsthand together with the producers, thus enjoying an authentic experience of true peasant life. In the months of September and October, even together with your children.

Pomaria

Pomaria, the mid-October apple festival held in Livo, in Val di Non, multiplies and transforms into a peasant festival that begins at the end of September and travels along the Apple and Flavours Road of Val di Non and Sole, with a very busy calendar of appointments dedicated to the best local production.

Freshwater Festival

From 4 to 10 October Torbole, on Lake Garda, hosts the 2nd edition of the Freshwater Fish Festival. The event aims to relaunch the cuisine of lake fish combined with other typical local products, by way of a competition among chefs, accompanied by tastings and debates on the ancient flavours and crafts of the Italian pre-Alpine lakes.

Pumpkin Festival

The yearly appointment with pumpkins returns at the Castagni Park, in Pergine Valsugana, from 4 to 6 October. Fun is guaranteed with a colourful party, workshops, games and many, many pumpkins. This year honey and chestnuts will be in tow!
