Il Mondo che vorrei
Photographic exhibition by Tomaso Barion
Photo exhibition: ‘IL MONDO CHE VORREI'
The author is the young artist Tomaso Barion from Torbole who, out of love for nature, has turned his passion into an art. It is an art told with a camera, searching for subjects, framing, depth of field, focus, exposure times and more. Tomaso is a 12-year old student, attending the third class of the Democratic Parental School ‘Creativity Garden of Alto Garda and Ledro’. A passionate naturalist, he has made Nature his second home. A keen observer, he tries to grasp, understand and process every nuance present in nature: lights, shadows, shapes and colours. The proposed shots, some thirty in number, highlight the creativity, freshness and spontaneity of the young photographer, who nevertheless strictly adheres to photographic technique.
‘In this exhibition, IL MONDO CHE VORREI (THE WORLD THAT I WOULD LIKE),‘’ says Tomaso, ‘’I propose photos taken on some of my trips: Namibia, Madagascar and Baja California Sur. I would like,' he continues, “that young visitors and adults alike could grasp the message: ”Even if we are different, we must learn to live together in peace, not only among ourselves, but also with the Nature that welcomes us. I would like the images of the beauty of this World to help us understand and respect it more’.
Tomaso Barion founded NAF, Nature as a Friend, an association that aims to safeguard the Planet and the species that inhabit it with the conviction that every little effort can be worthwhile.
Opening: Tuesday 17th September at 10.30 a.m. at the Galleria civica ‘G. Craffonara’ in Riva del Garda
