Just a stone’s throw from the summit of Monte Casale, Rifugio don Zio Pisoni is located in a unique position, at 1600 metres above sea level with a panoramic view of the most beautiful peaks, lakes and valleys of Trentino. From the summit (1632m), just a few steps from the refuge, it is often possible to see the landscape that stretches from the extreme south of Lake Garda as far as the highest peaks of the Adamello range. Then, your gaze moving from the Brenta Group to the Paganella, you can also admire the many lakes hosted by the surrounding valleys.
In addition to lunches, we offer aperitifs and dinners (subject to booking), as well as overnight stays with various formulas.
Our home-style kitchen offers hot meals from the Trentino tradition, made with raw materials and typical products from the local area. Our speciality is the unique dish offered by the refuge, featuring polenta from Storo, sauerkraut stew and melted cheese.
