Moena-Alpe Lusia is part of the Alpe Lusia - San Pellegrino Ski Area, which features its own ski pass, and offers the chance to ski in an area renowned for the high quality of its facilities and slopes - which total 95 km - as well as for the beauty of the views, from the Catinaccio Massif to Sassolungo, from the Pale di San Martino Group to Latemar.
Despite the mountain side towards Moena has red and black ski slopes (the "Piavac" is the most challenging one), young skiers in "Valbona" will find a nice ski school with a children’s mini-club and a playground for them to have fun on the snow between one course and the next. Starting from "Le Cune" after the descent to "Campo", you continue along a smooth ski-weg passing through the Paneveggio Nature Park until you reach Castelir, an area that is especially cherished by families because of its easy ski slopes that are wide and well exposed to the sun. In the ski area Alpe Lusia there are two snowparks: Lusia Boardercross and the Morea Snowpark, which include jumps, trails and facilities of all kinds. Both are located on the slopes towards Bellamonte, another gateway to Lusia. "Valbona" is also a destination for non-skiers, who can enjoy the beautiful terrace of the mountain shelter for a relaxing "sun bath".
Skiresort.info, the largest test portal for ski resorts in the world, assigned Alpe Lusia - Moena / Bellamonte 13 awards in the review of 15.01.2018., including the award Top Ski Resort.
