Terlago
Terlago: lakes, the castle and the medieval tower, villas, palaces and gardens
The ancient Castle of the Counts of Terlago (1500) and the Medieval Tower of Braidone are the emblem of Terlago - a small town at the foot of the Paganella and the Monte Gazza.
Its attractions include Palazzo Tabarelli de Fatis, Palazzo Cesarini Sforza and its grounds, Palazzo Altenpurger known as the Prince's Palazzo, Palazzo Mamming with its park, Palazzo Mazzonelli e Paissan with its charming loggia, Villa Rosa and its surroundings as well as the 15th century Casa Aldrighetto. The "Pietra della Regola" is found at the crossroads of Via Defant and Via Roma. According to oral tradition, this stone table marks the spot where people once met to discuss issues that affected the community.
Lake Terlago, which can be used for bathing as well as for fishing, is just a few kilometres away from the town. The outlying administrative districts of Monte Terlago - located near the small, delightful Lake Lamar surrounded by beech woods - and Covelo also fall within the scope of the Municipal District of Terlago.
