Scuola Italiana Sci - Scie di Passione
Careful and inclusive, thanks to a team of professionals, the school promotes the integration of able-bodied and disabled athletes with the same passion for skiing.
Passion doesn't stop at anything thanks to educational programmes and up-to-date technological resources that can guarantee sports practice a growing inclusiveness. The teachers of the Scuola Italiana Sci - Scie di Passione are convinced of this and, in two different centres of excellence, have specialised in teaching people with disabilities. The goal? To allow everyone to experience the mountain independently, promoting interaction and integration thanks to the improvement and adaptation of the host facilities. The role of the Scientific Committee, which acts with the task of devising and verifying new opportunities and activities to be carried out, is fundamental. Alpine skiing and Nordic skiing courses are thus adapted to the different types of disabilities (motor, sensory and cognitive) through the definition of a personalised methodology.
