Palacurling Cembra
The Cembra curling stadium is cradled in the breath-taking valley of the Scorzai River and it is the perfect environment for an ice-rink
The building features three levels; the Club House measuring about 160 sq. m, houses a refreshment area, disabled people's restrooms, a large meeting-room and a grandstand for watching the games; the ice-rink area is located in the basement where there are two curling rinks with changing rooms and restrooms.
The Cembra curling stadium opened in 2006 and is the ideal location to host the Italian championships, as well as curling and wheelchair-curling competitions and events. Beginners can learn the curling's basics here from qualified instructors, and rent all the necessary equipment required by the sport.
The stadium also hosts events for family entertainment, such as music shows and folkloristic events. An interesting detail: the stadium has been built by using natural materials, wood for the building and the roof, and porphyry stones for the decorative sections.
