The "Teatro di Villazzano" performance season will start from 8 November 2024 until 7 March 2025
The association "TeatroE" has reached the eighth year of management of the Teatro di Villazzano invites you to take part in the investigation that continues the one undertaken with the past seasons! Also for this season, the reference claim will be "Explorations", in a journey that continues between various seasons and events, meeting always different styles and ways of doing theatre that complete a wide and never trivial offer.
Thisyear at the Teatro di Villazzano you can browse through various proposals, branching into two distinctive and main offers: the Seasons, the best known and the Events, the latter being real creative forges.
There are four different seasons: Comedy, Amateur, Youth and Music.
It will open on 8 November with the return of the StivalaccioTeatro in the show "Romeo and Juliet. L 'amore è saltimbanco" which offers one of the most beloved Shakespearean works, through the Commedia dell 'arte and the Parodia. We will continue on 29 November with "Overload": a show winner of the UBU 2018 award that will give us the opportunity to meet an unexpected and sagacious type of comedy; on 13 December "La foto del turista" will be staged in which surreal comedy and an intense atmosphere merge to laugh at a delicate theme, which is part of the fears of the human soul. On 25 January we will have the honour of hosting Caterina Guzzanti, this time away from her most famous characters, in a lively and witty comedy. On February 7, "Love sees us double" will arrive with its grotesque, carefree and spontaneous comedy. On March 7 it will be the turn of the timeless "La Lettera " by Paolo Nani who continues to engage the public using body language in a disruptive way. It will end with the return of the company I Pezzi di Nerd which will present "I would like to meet you in 30 years", a show rid of the tight rhythm, full of slashing jokes and an irreverent and young irony like them.
