Vigo (Costa) - Soraga di Fassa

The walk connects Vigo to Soraga, through the pastures surrounding Costa and Larcioné. The ancient rural centres stand in panoramic, sun-kissed positions and preserve rustic dwellings and houses decorated with classic frescoed sacred iconographies.

Shortly after the fuel station in the centre of Vigo, turn into Strada de Val, the street that crosses the quarter bearing the same name. Having arrived at the crossing, turn left again (on the right is Strada de Somcosta, a steep uphill street) along Strada de Costa. Continue straight along the narrow street leading to the valley surrounded by grassland. The track you are following is at this point connected to a narrow country road descending from Larcioné. You go past an old hay barn on the right, and continue downhill (the slope is never steep) until you reach the wooden bridge over the stream "Ruf de Pociole". Cross the bridge and go down diagonally through the wood along a wide track. Soon afterwards you come out onto Soraga’s meadows not so far away from the Agritur Soreie (farm) and a chapel, the Cappella della Madonna.
