Tour 856 - Baselga di Piné villages
Route that winds through the various villages of the municipality of Baselga di Piné, interesting both from a cultural perspective, and a great way to admire the nature of the surrouding area.
This route is particularly interesting from both a cultural and naturalistic point of view: ancient villages, churches, historic fountains, nature conservation areas and much more to discover. Among the first points of interest are the Dosso panoramico di Miola, with a clear view of Lake Serraia, the hamlets of Rizzolaga, Sternigo, Ricaldo and Baselga. For those who want a shorter ride, the tour can be concluded by continuing in the direction of the Miola Ice Rink. You can also continue on to the hamlets of Tressilla, San Mauro and Montagnaga, where there are places of religious interest, including the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Piné, with the Comparsa meadow and the Redeemer Monument, and of natural interest, such as the Laghestel Nature Reserve. From Montagnaga, climb up towards the hamlets of Grill, where, not far from the indicated route, you can visit the ruins of Castel de la Mot, also called Belvedere Castle due to its suggestive view of Lake Caldonazzo. Further on are the hamlets of Prada and Faida, where there is a water mill dating back to the 1700s, which can also be visited upon request. Also not to be underestimated are the small hamlets at the end of the tour, Cané and Fiore- two beautiful villages surrounded by greenery and offering an insight into ancient history.
