Ronchi - Bait de Colvere - La Rezila
This route connects "Ronchi" area ("I Ronc") to San Pellegrino Valley and Alpe Lusia. You’ll walk on forest roads, going through the dense coniferous woodlands that cover the northern slopes of Lasté and Lusia peaks, passing the small valleys created by the creeks of "Ciadinon", "Soic" and "de Poza".

Starting behind "Lusia" gondola, proceed for about 700 metres on a comfortable paved road, characterised by brief yet steep climbs, until reaching the cabins and meadows of "Ronchi" ("I Ronc"). Then, cross the main road of San Pellegrino Pass and get to the open space on the left after the bridge. Continue straight on the forest road ("Le Tenebre") that runs along "Rif de Sèn Pelegrin" stream. The path has long, flat or slightly uphill, stretches, interrupted at regular intervals by three steep ramps which, however, aren’t over 200/250 metres long. Storm "Vaia" of 2018 wiped out a large portion of forest, making the route more open and sunnier. Once reached the crossroad, leave the road that heads to "Fango" and take the one ascending on the right (trail sign no. 625) towards "Colvere". With wide bends, you’ll gain elevation. Ignore the signs on the left to "Sforcela de Lujia" (path no. 634) and "Gronton" (path no. 634/A). The road circumvents "Costa de le Soic" and then comes out of the woods and lowers nearby the pastures and the beautiful log cabin (former Malga Colvere) belonging to the municipality (closed). With convenient bends, you’ll descend along the mountain’s side, at the base of the small valley run by "Rif de Poza" stream. Cross the stream and then skirt a meadow stretch delimited by a fence. At the crossroad, keep right (the forest road on the left leads to Lusia Pass), catching right away a glimpse of La Rezila Refuge (closed in the winter).

The hike retraces many Great War’s locations, starting from the bridge over "Rif de Sèn Pelegrin" stream, also known as "Pont de la mericana", where the "American" cableway towards Lusia’s lakes left from. Posts, tunnels, and trenches are still clearly visible in "Colvere" area (visitable in summer only).
