Pozza di Fassa - Bagnes

Easy summer and winter walk around the village of Pozza. Ideal for a short walk in the forest with a return along the cycle path from Vigo to Pozza.

Start from the San Nicolò’s Church, leave behind Strada de Meida and turn left onto Strada de Freina, which ascends and winds among houses and old barns. The road turns soon into a dirt path and a bit further forks. At the crossing take the path that slightly turns to the right, going through a sparse but bright grove. From here the path is flat until it joins the foot and cycling path (cross country ski track) that leads to Soraga. Now turn right, pass the water purification plant first and then walk along the bank of the stream Avisio, in order to reach the village of Pozza and the town centre. Cross the square Piaza de Comun, near the Town Hall, and turn left onto the road that runs along the stream Avisio, called Promenada enlongia Ruf. Keep on following the "Ruf de Sèn Nicolò" bank until you reach San Nicolò’s Church.
