Moena - Costalunga Pass - Soraga - Moena

This tour, which develops almost entirely on forest roads in the woods, stretches up to Costalunga Pass. For the return, you’ll go through the suggestive and panoramic hamlet of Tamion, and then descend towards Larcioné and Soraga.

Exit the village of Moena along "Strada di Molign", crossing a first bridge over "Rif de Costalongia" stream. Flank the stream, past an area equipped with tables and benches ("Pala da Rif"), cross the river again and proceed on an ancient, cobbled street. Then turn right and pass through a wide erosion area on a somewhat uneven sandy path ("Terre Rosse"). After flanking the upper part of a deep ditch dug by the stream, climb easily until the route evens up for a long stretch. Pass a wooden boardwalk and eventually filter in the forest road towards Passo Carezza/Costalunga. Climb the incline up to the junction (from the left side joins the path that ascends from Malga Panna hut and Sorte). On a track that’s now become easier, come out of the woods, and flank a wide strip of pastureland. Proceed on flat ground and then descend diagonally and cross "Rif de Peniola" stream, whose course you’ll follow upstream. Keep right on a nice, white gravel road that ascends, with wide and easy bends, for a long stretch. Halfway up a steep climb, you’ll come across the road that comes from "Costa Bergousa"/Tamion. Move then to the right and continue pedalling following the forest road (trail sign no. 556) that, with slight ascents, long flat stretches, and some hairpin bend, arrives at Costa Bergousa’s clearing. Proceed with a continuous up and down to Tamion’s settlement. Near Hotel Gran Mugon, take the dirt road towards Vigo up to the junction, to the right, towards Larcioné. The dirt road runs through the meadows and ends near the roundabout on the main road. Cross it, go beyond the stream, and take "Strada da Molin" until coming across the cycling and walking route, which will take you back to Moena.
