Corna dal Vescof Rock-climbing Area
The name "Corna dal Vescof" comes from the very rock shape, which actually looks like a bishop's silhouette. The climbing area opened in May 1999. It features 10 routes and a rock-climbing training wall for kids. However, it still features a lot of room to add new routes or extend some of the ones it is already equipped with. Park your car in the parking-lot near the bridge over the River Palvico. The wall is at about a 10-minute walk from the parking-lot on an easy path which takes climbers to the base of the rock. Given its position, it can be climbed almost all year around. Climbers are advised to make the best of afternoon hours in the wintertime, and the morning hours in the summertime. They are also advised to come with their own beverage, since there is no water near the wall.
