Festa della Noce

In Cavrasto the arches of the old farmhouses are turned into little shops for local produce. The whole village turns into a large food and wine community where the Bleggio walnut plays a starring role, either on its own or in fragrant cakes, bread, a walnut liqueur, and the rare walnut salami.

Saturday, November 9

• 9:30 AM - Opening Ceremony of the 11th Walnut Festival  
• 10:00 AM - Opening of the “Traditional Market” with local producers and artisans from Giudicarie Esteriori  
• 10:30 AM - Conference "Enhancing and Supporting the Walnut Production Chain in Trentino: the CANOSSA Project," presented by the Edmund Mach Foundation and MAB Unesco Alpi Ledrensi e Judicaria  
• 11:00 AM - Musical entertainment with Samuele and Danilo  
• 12:00 PM - Polenta in the Square with the Walnut Brotherhood of Bleggio  
• 12:00 PM - Lunch featuring Bleggio walnuts, with special dishes by Pro Loco Cavrasto, Pro Loco Quadra, Alpini Group of Bleggio, and the Rural Women of Bleggio  
• 2:00 PM - Itinerant concert by Coro Castel Campo  
• 2:00 PM - Guided walk along the "Walnut Trail," organized by the Ecomuseum of Judicaria (info +39 379 2310599)  
• 2:00 PM - Cavrasto Theater: Exhibition of native seeds from Giudicarie and Herbarium display by the “Orti Giudicariesi” cultural group

• 6:00 PM - Concert in Cavrasto church by Coro Castel Campo and Coro Alpino Medunese

• 9:00 AM - Guided walk along the “Walnut Trail,” organized by MAB Unesco Alpi Ledrensi e Judicaria, Ecomuseum of Judicaria, and Sarca River Park with Mountain Friends - reservation required at https://www.mountainfriends.it
• 10:00 AM - Opening of the “Traditional Market” with local producers and artisans from Giudicarie Esteriori  
• 10:00 AM - Cavrasto Theater: Exhibition of native seeds from Giudicarie and Herbarium display by the “Orti Giudicariesi” cultural group

• 6:00 PM - Award ceremony for the “Decorate a Witch’s Broom” contest and lottery drawing by the Walnut Brotherhood  
• 7:00 PM - Closing of the “Traditional Market” with local producers and artisans from Giudicarie Esteriori  

Throughout the festival, visitors can vote for the best-decorated broom in the “Decorate a Witch’s Broom” contest and purchase raffle tickets from the Walnut Brotherhood of Bleggio.

A family-friendly area will be available, equipped with changing tables and a nursing station for babies.

Festa della Noce is an event of Mese del Gusto, the “festival” of flavors and products of Garda Trentino. A series of delicious events that celebrate passion, tradition, and artisanal excellence.
