Rheo Martin Pedrazza Art Gallery
An original museum with sections dedicated to Cimbrian traditions, to the Great War, to prehistory and to the fauna of Alpe Cimbra, using suggestive reconstructions of natural environments.
Luserna, the final enclave of the Cimbrian language, attracts visitors with a delightful museum which not only focuses on the history and typical activities of the area, like metalworking from 3,000 years ago, the origins of the ancient Cimbrian language and the art of bobbin lace, but also explores other themes ranging from the role of the bear in Trentino’s folk culture to the architecture of the Alpine region. Don’t miss the dioramas in the wildlife rooms, the material on the first world war (the “Fortresses on the Plateaus” and “Alphabet of the Great War” halls), and the House Museum, a real slice of life from times gone by.
HIGHLIGHT
A museum dedicated to the history and traditions of the Cimbrian people.
