Museo Etnografico del Nonno Gustavo
Games of yesteryear, antique utensils and tools used in the past by woodcutters, farmers and craftsmen: a journey through history and tradition through over 1800 objects of the time that was.
Located in Bellamonte, the Nonno Gustavo Ethnographic Museum collects a collection of at least 1,800 objects capable of testifying to local history. Games from the past, antique utensils and tools used in the past by woodcutters, farmers and craftsmen allow you to live a rich experience spanning three centuries. The collection stems from the passion of Rinaldo Varesco, a historic hotelier who passed away in 2019 at the age of 91. His patience is responsible for the accumulation of thousands of exhibits that include, in addition to work tools, also the main containers used in the kitchens of the past and a large collection of musical instruments.
