Recently restored and open to the public, this house-museum celebrates the life and works of Antonio Longo, a priest and painter, a disciple of Valentino Rovisi and a student of the Academy of Nudes in Rome. Born in Varena in 1742, he was influenced over the years by the Unterpergers, an important family of painters. He then moved to Rome where he met great artists of his time such as Anton Raphael Mengs, Pompeo Batoni and Anton von Maron. The building, decorated inside with a series of frescoes, preserves several works by the artist.
