Musei di Ronzone
Costumes, traditions, postcards, orienteering, and an exhibit on award-winning director Oscar Frank Borzage. Four permanent exhibits in a unique museum that uses original methods to show the many facets of this community
Four museums in one. The Musei di Ronzone are unique in that they use a variety of exhibitions to take you through the life of a community and its citizens. They are housed in Ronzone’s former elementary school, in the very rooms where pupils studied every day. Here, you can lose yourself in times gone by. Discover historic teaching instruments, everyday objects, work tools, and kitchens. The postcard museum offers a window into the Alta Val di Non’s past. The orienteering museum displays items dating to the dawn of this sport. An exhibit on Frank Borzage, Oscar-winning director and actor who made over 100 silent and sound films, concludes the itinerary. His father was born in Ronzone, before emigrating to Switzerland and the USA.
