Maso Curio "Ca da Mont"
The Caderzone Curio Massif, with its 500 square metres, has recently been restored and has deliberately maintained its original function related to cattle breeding.
The most interesting farmhouse in Val Rendena, a monument to popular construction of the fourteenth century, strikes for thecobblestones, the wooden superstructures, the gabled roof covered with shingles, the milk shed, the ruins of the casèra and the fountains. A perfect testimony to Rendena's agricultural architecture, the Maso Curio in Caderzone, with its 500 square metres, has recently been restored. It has deliberately maintained its original function related to cattle breeding, which is still practised in the traditional way. The sacred fresco on the eastern façade depicts, not surprisingly, St.Anthony the Abbot, protector of animals, and St. Barbara, protector from the lightning and fire that struck the farm in 1537.
STRENGTH:
The Curio farmhouse is the oldest evidence of agricultural architecture - the owner of the entire Rendena Valley.
