City Museum
An interactive, multi-sensory museum housed in one of Rovereto's historic buildings
The museum tells the story of Rovereto, from its origins dating back to Prehistory to the medieval village and then to the sixteenth century, the era of the flourishing silk industry. This journey through the history of the city takes place through works of art, archaeological finds, photographs, archival documents and multimedia media. You can enjoy your visit with the guidance of an app which allows you to interact with the items on display and listen to their stories.
The museum is housed in the rooms of Palazzo Sichardt, the eighteenth-century residence of the Sichardt family of merchants from Nuremberg, and is one of the two exhibition venues of the Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto.
