Centro Permanente della Flora e della Fauna Alpina
The Flora and Fauna Centre is located in Le Parti in Castello Tesino, near the sports centre, an area surrounded by nature and greenery that connects to the village with two comfortable walks.
Inside, the Centre proposes the reconstruction of all the alpine environments, giving space and visibility to most of the animal and floral species that characterise the mountain environment. A precise and detailed description has been associated with each habitat, in order to make the visit also a cultural and informative moment, not only recreational.
In addition to the alpine animals, there are also sections on the fish that inhabit the mountain waters, a section entirely dedicated to reptiles, a rich collection of minerals and showcases dedicated to insects and butterflies.
Not to be missed is the reconstruction of the Cave of the Speleo Bear, with details that make this space truly evocative.
In addition to the Museum, you can also visit the adjoining outdoor park, of particular scenic value, where there are many trees that characterise the Trentino mountains, different floral and shrubby species and colourful flowerbeds. The park can be visited through a comfortable walk, which also offers relaxation areas equipped with benches and tables.
Also noteworthy is the natural amphitheatre recreated within the park, which in summer hosts musical events and entertainment events for children.
